Why we walk! 💕
This is our (🎀Team Pink ID2C) 12th year participating in "American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk."
Our CEO/Founder, Pamela Grayson-Baltimore was initially diagnosed in August 2000 with infiltrating ductal carcinoma breast cancer & was treated aggressively with a lumpectomy, chemotherapy & radiation! At that time she did not realize the toll that it would have on her life & the lives of her family & friends.
Her FAITH sustained her along with a supportive circle of loved ones! It was because of this; she was able to work as well as be an example of LIVING LIFE REGARDLESS & INSPITE of the diagnosis!
As she was about to celebrate 13 years cancer free; she was advised on 9/18/14 that the cancer had returned. Although the treatment would be different & because of a 2nd early detection, SHE IS ALIVE! The treatment involved (4) surgeries…
