ID2c Live from vegas!
"I use to be a broken individual. I know the word broken sounds dramatic but it was how I felt. Day-by-day I found myself shrinking inside. I did not know how to cope with my emotions; I stayed quiet ….I never saw much emotion in my household. Many people around me always believed I lived a perfect life but I battled many demands. When I was introduced to ID2C by a close friend it was funny how a woman I never met broke me down on my first session. Ms.Pam was the first woman to take me by the hand and say " I understand," from an individual that has always felt misunderstood it was a relief. I was surprised to see many girls I've seen on a daily basis ( from school) struggling with the same issues as me. ID2C became my safe place, I felt incomplete if I missed a group. Meeting every Monday gave me a voice and a an opportunity to better myself, these girls became my second family . I don't think a paragraph could ever amount to the support and love Ms. Pam along with the rest of the mentors have shown me in the 3 years I've been with the program. Currently as a sophomore at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas I am a Woman Studies major because of my mentor and also working to mentor young girls in and out of the country". -Kyasia R. The Rutgers Camden Women's Law Caucus is very honored and proud to have been involved with I Dare to Care for the past six years! I Dare to Care is a wonderful organization, changing the lives of the youth of Camden by showing them that they can make a difference via the living example of their leaders, particularly the founder, Miss Pam. We all have a first-row seat to see what happens when someone takes a fantastic idea and puts the wheels in motion to bring it to life. By witnessing this movement, we are all learning the tools to know that we can accomplish anything we can dream of, and in the process make the world truly a better place-- one relationship at a time.

A Women who has been EmpowereD ! (We care)
I want everybody to know God is good and anything is possible if you just trust and call on him. I remember I was in a dark gloomy place spiritually, mentally, emotionally, and physically until one day I just woke up and called upon God and the doors begin to open up.. First I was taken out of bad relationships with all type of negative people from family, friends, co-workers and boyfriends. Then introduced to nothing but positive people who wanted more out of life such as Nancy who then introduce me to more positive people such as Ms Pam who is the founder of ID2C's Women's Empowerment group. This has been a long journey and I'm still a work in progress but ID2C has had such an impact on me. I have built friendships with other women who are striving to be better everyday this group has empowered me to do better and to be better at everything I do no matter what the circumstance is.. It can and will inspire you to if you just try.-Candance K.,WE Care
ID2C has impacted my children, Jessica & Derek, in the area of responsibility. I notice they are more conscientious about being responsible for the words they speak, their deeds and actions towards each other & their peers. ID2C has allowed them the opportunity to develop their communication & conflict resolution skills. This mentoring program has allowed me to join passions with a dynamic woman, Pamela Grayson-Baltimore, to equip and empower females to win in every area of their lives! Thank you Pam for allowing me to participate in your vision! We Love you! Jocelyn P., ID2C Pennsylvania Ambassador
A Mother's perspective!
"My two daughters participate in ID2C. ID2C has shown a very positive impact on my daughter Zhane B. (12 years old). The changes I see in her as far as her grades and the outlook that she has for her future has been wonderful. She is even determined to become a senior mentor one day. ID2C has also been a positive influence on my other daughter Cierra M. (7 years old). She looks up to her sister. And the values that this program has taught my kids. I don't know what I would do without it!" -LaKeisha M., Mother
"We are not only members of ID2C but we are daughters of ID2C! Yes, Ms. Pam is our mom! We help with ID2C. We see ID2C as a mentoring group that helps girls our age and older become leaders and helps them with peer and family relationships. Most importantly, we have seen ID2C help make mother-daughter relationships stronger. As the program has grown, the relationship with our mom has strengthened! Like mom always say, IT DOES MATTER!" -Jasmine and Abriya, ID2C Members
A senior mentor has something to say!
"Being a senior mentor has impacted my life in several ways! ID2C has helped to realize that I have purpose inside of me and the heart to give on a greater level. I realized that it's not about ME or what I can gain. ID2C has shown me how to help people without being concerned about getting something in return. I'm also grateful that my daughter Jada is apart of ID2C. She's able to learn about giving back and appreciating her blessings because she is serving others on another level as well. It's now about WE, me and Jada! And we have learned some valuable lessons through ID2C." -LaKiesha W., ID2C Senior Mentor
I'm loving ID2C!
"Hi, my name is Elixandrea S. I have been involved with ID2C for about two years now, and I love it! It has taken a very important role in my life. Being in ID2C I have learned a lot, from how to act more like a lady to how to help my younger ID2C sisters act more like ladies. Ms. Pam is very important to me and if it wasn't for her and ID2C I don't know where I would be. Also, since I've been involved I have been doing much better in school and getting serious about going to college. I am a senior in high school and now my grades are wonderful because of me being in ID2C. Now, I want to follow in Ms. Pam's footsteps; I will be going to college in the fall of 2013 to become a social worker."
ID2C for life!
"Before I met Ms. Pam and was introduced to ID2C, I was a young girl who didn't have a clue about life! Once we built a relationship, I was in for a rude awakening and didn't even know it. Ms. Pam stayed on my back and got on me about the things that I should have been doing. Although I must admit, sometimes we would bump heads and I got annoyed because I did not understand why she was on my back all the time! Ms. Pam would always say, "I don't care Keena, I'm not scared of you!" At the end of the day, I appreciate having a woman like her in my life that taught me so much over the last four years. I gained a relationship with God that I didn't have before, I matured, I have many more connections through ID2C, and my mindset is completely different. Now that I am a sophomore at Rowan University, I still reach out to Ms. Pam as much as I can. Even though I don't talk to her as much I know our relationship will always remain the same, and that I can go to her for anything. Being around to watch the program grow is simply amazing! The fact that she has more resources and now a building to actually help more girls is mind blowing! It's all a blessing and she deserves it. Ms. Pam means the world to me and pretty soon girls all over the world will be able to say the same." -Tikeena S., ID2C Graduate
